To find
our location is easy, as we are situated in the middle of our village, along the
mainroad N-225 passing through Amerongen.This national road is situated 5 km.
south of and parallel to the A-12 highway, the connection between Utrecht(30
km.) and Arnhem.
Driving of the highway up to our place is only 8 km. easy
road (7 minutes).
Coming of this highway/motorway A-12 (=E-35) , take off at
exit nr.22 (Maarsbergen), and turn in the direction of Leersum.At the end of
this way at a roundabout, turn left (=N-225) and follow this road through
Leersum into Amerongen. Entering Amerongen by following the main road N-225
pointing towards Elst, just 80 mtr. passed the first roadcrossing you will find
our house at the righthand side, at number 52a, and 200 mtr. before the second
roundabout in the middle of our village.
A busstop is only 150 mtrs. of our
house (linebus nr.50) at the center round-about. It connects to the
railway-stations at Driebergen, Utrecht-central, Rhenen and Arnhem.
A couple of fine restaurants can
highlight your stay in Amerongen and are at walkingdistance, like the historic
Amerongen-castle.
